Composing, to me, is capturing what is already there. It is as if a moment, a person, or a situation has its own music ready to be composed.

I have worked with different styles and mediums in my music. Starting off as a singer-songwriter, I quickly moved into performance and experimental theatre. I have composed for TV, documentaries, installation art, performance, and performing arts. I have also directed pieces for film festivals, galleries, club events and contemporary dance festivals.

During the years 2010-2012 I worked as an in-house composer at the contemporary dance theatre Foyer in Seoul.

In 2010 I received the price "Remarable Artist o the Year" from the Korean Association of Culture Critis as the first non-Korean national.
